Limited Warranty

The warranty obligations of Solvision Technology for the product are limited to the terms set forth below.

What is Covered

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the product. Warranty Information.

Powered Product Warranty

Solvision warrants its powered products against any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three years from the date of invoice. In the event of a malfunction during the warranty period, Solvision will repair or replace a product to its original operating condition and to ensure that it meets original performance specifications. Reduced performance due to normal wear and tear, or damages caused by misuse or negligence will not be covered. Solvision will test and evaluate all products claimed defective.

To assure the highest level of service, a return authorization number must be obtained from Solvision before products are returned for service. Products must be shipped to Solvision, prepaid along with proof of purchase only after obtaining a Return Authorization (RA) number from the Solvision Customer Support department.

This statement of policy is in lieu of any other policy expressed or implied and no representative or person is authorized to assume any other liability or adopt any other policy for Solvision Technology without our written consent.

Powered Product Warranty Exceptions

Power Supplies (Internal)

Solvision warrants power supplies against any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three years from the date of invoice. In the event of a malfunction during the warranty period, Solvision will repair or replace the power supply to its original operating condition. Solvision engineers will examine the returned product and determine whether the Power Supply Warranty or Powered Product Warranty applies.

Power Adopter/Power Cable (External)

Solvision No warrants against any external power supply (Adopter/Power Cables).

Touchscreens

Solvision warrants touchscreen display and overlay components against any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of invoice.

Non-Powered and Cable Product Warranty Exceptions

Cable Cubby, Hideaway Surface Access Enclosures and Retractors

Solvision warrants Cable Cubby cable access enclosures, HSA Hideaway Surface Access enclosures, and Retractor cable retraction modules for a period of one year from the date of invoice.

 

 

 

General

This Limited Warranty does not apply if the fault has been caused by misuse, improper handling care, electrical or mechanical abuse, abnormal operating conditions or non-Solvision authorized modification to the product. Solvision Technology makes no further warranties either expressed or implied with respect to the product and its quality, performance, merchantability, or fitness for any particular use. In no event will Solvision Technology be liable for direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from any defect in this product even if Solvision Technology has been advised of such damage. Please note that laws vary from state to state and country to country, and that some provisions of this warranty may not apply to you.

Please note:

Opened software products are NON-REFUNDABLE. Only packaged, unopened software products may be returned.

Only the original purchaser of the product is covered under this limited warranty.

This limited warranty is not transferable to subsequent purchasers or owners of this product.

Replace the product with a direct replacement or with a similar product deemed by Solvision Technology to perform substantially the same function as the original product. If a direct or similar replacement product is supplied, the original product’s end warranty date remains unchanged and is transferred to the replacement product.

This limited warranty is void if

(i) the label bearing the serial number of the product has been removed or defaced,

(ii) the product is not distributed by Solvision Technology or

(iii) the product is not purchased from an authorized Solvision Technology Reseller.
